Asthma is a chronic condition of the lungs where the airways are blocked by inflammation and mucus. It is likened to an allergic reaction confined only to the lungs. How come not everybody gets asthma? And why do people die from asthma? Why is there no cure? Those are the common questions asked to me a lot and there are a lot of materials on the web that can help shed light on these topics.
